FERAL Camp 2010
Leaders go FERAL at F.E.R.A.L. Camp 2010 20-21 February 2010 (Fellowship
Educating Real Attitude Leaders)
FERAL Camp was attended by a whopping 48 Leaders this year, almost double
previous years. For the first time we welcomed several Committee members to
camp. An honourable mention also goes to Kay Montgomery from South East
Queensland Catchments who not only presented several informative and
entertaining sessions, but spent the entire weekend with us.
We
also enjoyed a visit from the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary with some exciting
news of upcoming events.

Nerang Scout Group ran an exceptional programme and we are extremely grateful
to the Group. In a moving ceremony at Final Parade, the Nerang Group formally
handed the FERAL Campfire Ashes on to Burleigh Heads Scout Group who have
graciously accepted the responsibility for FERAL 2011.

Personal thanks from the District Commissioner to Kay for the gift of her
"Kangaroo Ears" which I undertake to use on a regular basis. They are
amazing and I am very thankful for such a simple gift.
